Which is what led me to the idea of The Launchpad- a place where anyone can go, where parents know their children can play, but also allows them to get support, connection and the resources they need. Affordable. Warm. Welcoming.

On the flip side of all these frustrations, I have been lucky enough to work alongside some incredible people who strive to work for the greater good no matter the challenges. This has shown me the life changing impact that people pulling together, connecting, and supporting each other can have on individuals.
The Launchpad will be all about this. Giving people a space where they can both offer and receive vital support from others. To grow their 'village'. Looking after children is hard. Don't get me wrong- it's glorious, it's beautiful, it's magical. But it's also messy, monotonous, and at times downright lonely. I'm not sure I have ever known a parent who hasn't experienced isolation- extensive research backs this up. I am 100% confident that the solution to avoiding isolation is already there, in our communities, it just needs a place to grow.

So please, join us.

If you delight in hearing uncontrollable and carefree laughter, or seeing children live out the wonderful things in their imagination with absolute dedication and concentration, or test out the limits of what their legs and arms can do, join us.
